The Dashing, Young and Bold Super intelligently written, crazy progressions, and a really good energy. This stays on my playlist.

HuddyJ I honestly hate myself for not writing this earlier. This is likely my AotY. The tender moments juxtaposed against, and nurtured within the heavier nucleus of this album just leaves me reeling. The push and pull of the two vocalists also captivates me. It's honestly one of those albums that I'm just thankful for. It's truly sensational. Favorite track: Vernate.
Juanci

Juanci holy moly, this album is so damn beautiful, a perfect blend between melancholy and twinkly math sounds. love these guys Favorite track: Picturesque.

Care 01:15

worn 02:20
I've been sifting through new configurations of solace and reinterpretations of closure Slowly learning the subtle difference between moving forward and moving on I've been drifting For what felt like forever time was standing still Transfixed on all the things that could go wrong and regularly conjuring up new fears I've been drifting in and out of settling but i'm still yet to find my place.
3.
Picturesque 02:54
I was a blank slate awaiting color a silhouette waiting patiently to fill out I know it makes you sad it makes me sad too Neither you or I have seen me in so long Perhaps the entirety of my being is some poorly thrown together assortment of fragments of my former self I can only hope it fits together in some way Maybe someday I'll form your new favorite shape Emptiness is just room to grow We could be picture perfect in a fractured frame.
4.
Opaque 03:03
In seeking consistency I constructed a series of patterns that never repeat In retrospect I never lost my temper but you found your way with more flare and grace Developed a jealousy so stubbornly ingrained A futile attempt to do the same Mimic your shadow to no end I wish I could see my green eyes reflected on yours So together, yet so opaque In seeking consistency I constructed a series of patterns I never believed In retrospect you never lost your temper but you felt the same and never got to say.

Augury 03:14
My sense of self worth has frozen over and yours still burns like hell. You're scared and growing older Never convinced that a thaw will ever come It's been stuck in my head forever Oh the horror Behind your eyes do the colors look exactly as mine If I swallow my pride I will never stomach it.
6.
So far removed from your neck of the woods Split bark from growth rings think of rekindling the embers turned to ash The hollow seek sanctuary temporary understanding So far a late bloom foliage blending in The hollow speak transparently In your eyes at least For all the things I can't describe and all the things I choose to hide Silently.
7.
Unsunset 03:46
It's when my worst gets the best of me when I forget to close my casket and everyone sees Blue moon nights when I sleep The shades of the sky birth a distrust Deciphering the sun could it really be warm out I still can't go outside It's early can I wake up now I like the quiet after the storm I like the birds.

Lackluster 03:49
We were metaphors for each other's wounded pride It wasn't long until we caved back to our old ways We said we'd change we stayed the same We said we'd change we stayed the same Soft spoken delicate and restless We'll tear each other limb by limb and watch them grow back the innocence we thought we had We said we'd change we stayed the same we said we'd change but it's too late for that Retracing each other's outlines with closed eyes Our patterns changed shape but left us in the same place vulnerable and exposed A hollow sense of repose We'll be buried with our stories on our skin waves of smoke will carry withered bones and heavy stones and all the things we'll miss.
9.
Vernate 02:04
Burdened, fearful and self deprecative It wasn't supposed to be like this Growing up and growing distant Heavy hearts sink with such haste you were gone in a Moment's notice I know I remember And it feels like I've forgot about everything else Feels like yesterday cause I think about it just about every other day Playing catch up with things i'm ahead of.
10.
To Heart 03:48
Face flushed it hit like a ton of bricks And I could try to trap your breath between pillows But I couldn't keep you here Instead you left knots you tried to knead out from far away bruises forming in its wake Remind me to stand straight on my own My voice grows coarse and faint Before it's drowned out Wake up to the sound of your rattling bones and the shadows i'll never see again the times when you knew you meant more to me than anything I take these things to heart and try to discard them nonetheless Try to I put my heart in my head and left it that way.
